Getting Started With Entrepreneurship
For Inexperienced or First-Time Entrepreneurs
If you've read this far I'm assuming you're interested in entrepreneurship. Maybe you're like 30% of millennials who list "starting a business" as one of the things they want to do someday. But that's the key word there isn't it? Someday. NOW is the best time to do it. Either you're young and have nothing to lose and so much to learn and gain, or you're not and you have less time to achieve your goals, either way, that just means NOW is the best time.
Do you really want to work for someone else your whole life? Work doesn't have to feel like work if it's what you're really passionate about and you don't have to wait until you're retired to enjoy freedom. It's not easy, but nothing worth doing ever was.
I'll tutor you in what you need to know and guide you in the right direction. Even if you're not ready to start a business, I can help equip you with the knowledge to do so, or to better succeed in your job.
Starting a business is risky, I help reduce that risk.

Product Strategy
For Early Stage Companies
While there are lots of studies on why startups fail, the most recurring #1 reason why is a bad product-market fit. You can spend forever working on an amazing product but if no one likes it or it doesn't work with existing market and sociological dynamics it's going to fail. What do you do when your product has market externalities, such as in a marketplace app: You need sellers on the app to get buyers to use it, but you need buyers on the app for sellers to bother to post anything. How do you get around this or change your model?
I can help. The way most startup products start is with an idea. That idea is then built and taken to market, but that's a little like taking aim at a target (market) that you can't see with the first bow and arrow you find, rather than first identifying your ideal target market and related market dynamics, carefully selecting your weapon, and taking aim. I can help you reverse engineer problems and market demands into tangible solutions, and help you validate those solutions to find a better product-market fit.

Business Architecture
For Early Stage Companies
The nice thing about business management theory is most things have broad applications. For example, every business needs an accounting system, reporting processes, organizational culture, financing, etc. A lot of these things are not product specific and therefore not dependent on the product to complete.
With my broad education in the various fields of strategy and business, I can help you create and integrate your various disparate business functions (HR, IT, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Design, Product, etc) to work together to form an effective and efficient organization with which to meet your long-term strategic goals.

Business Strategy
For Companies Beginning to Scale
Does your business have recurring revenue streams? What about strong competitive advantages? If a large company put a bunch of programmers or engineers in a room over the weekend and threw a bunch of money at the problem could they copy your product and outcompete you with a larger brand, more resources, and better distribution?
I hope not, but just in case you should shoot me a message and get my take on ways you can reduce risk, increase profitability, and maximize growth.

Brand & Content Strategy
For Both Early Stage Companies and Those Beginning to Scale
If your brand walked through the door right now who would they be and what would they say?
If you can't answer that question in a way that is not just with the confidence that that person (your brand personified) is the absolute best person to sell to your ideal client profile, saying the best possible things given your data and with perfect brand consistency, but is also easy and concise enough that literally anyone new you hire can immediately pick it up and be able to articulate or explain it in depth, then you definitely need some help with your marketing.

Sales & Networking Strategy
For Both Early Stage Companies and Those Beginning to Scale
Does your sales team have a process? What about a CRM or a sales hub with your ideal client profile, or core sales messages? Hopefully, you do, because sales staff have some of the highest turnover rates of any employees, and are the most expensive to lose because they're the ones who are supposed to be making the revenue.
In fact, you can hire the best salesperson in the world but if you don't give them the tools they need to succeed it's a little bit like hiring the world's best painter and then not giving them a brush or paint and then wondering why they can't paint your portrait. I can help make sure your sales strategy and management is enabling any sales staff you hire to succeed.
